Pole Dancing to Gospel Hymns. I think I just feel in love with you.

    Laura, yes!

I’d not call any of it life-changing. Enjoyable, yes. The Ruminate folks are up in Fort Collins and they do good work. Sketchnote includes the work of my pal Paul Soupiset. Anne Lamott is one of my favorite writers, but I’m not in love with this one. I stumbled across the Pole Dancing…book at some friends’ house yesterday. Andrea Gibson’s poems are raw and electric, sometimes jolting and make me want to be a Slam Poet.

Aw, Mindy… Her work is definitely worth checking out.

I learned pole dancing from the 3rd grade elementary girls at my old job. I wonder if they were doing it to hymns?

I am loving Anne Lamott. She’s new to me, but very familiar. She’d fit in at HFASS, don’t you think?
